Diet and Exercise What a Novel Concept to Deter Cellulite!

When you ask the doctor what two things you can do to stay as healthy as possible, they will likely tell you to be on a healthy diet and to exercise. Even though doctors warn you of smoking and other bad habits, your diet and exercise plans have more of an impact on your life than anything else.  In fact, your diet and exercise plans can even help you deter your cellulite.  If you are suffering with cellulite and are not on a good diet or exercise plan, you need to listen up and take action today.  You can drastically change your life as well as your cellulite appearance when you get on the track to better health.

Diet

When you choose to live healthier, you need to start with your eating habits.  When you need to get rid of cellulite, you should start by eliminating fats from your diet.  You need to eat an abundance of fruits and vegetables.  You can eat a little fat, but be sure it is in the form of grains or other healthy foods.  Use the food pyramid to help you along your way.  You don’t have to be an expert that counts calories, just use your common sense to get through your day without stopping at the burger joint or the bakery for donuts.

Exercise

Exercise can help shrink those fat cells that cause cellulite. In addition, it can help you lower your total body fat, which can also be helpful in reducing the appearance of cellulite.  You can start slow with your new exercise plan by taking a short daily walk.  Try starting with a fifteen minute walk and work up to at least thirty minutes a day.  You will be shocked at how fast this time can go when you grab your family and take a stroll around the block.  You can also choose to bike, which helps target the thigh and buttock area that cellulite often hits first.

Exercise will not only help your cellulite but also help you maintain a great overall fitness level and healthy heart.  If you can’t find time to exercise daily, be sure you do so at least three times a week.  You can even make small changes such as parking at the last spot at the store so you have to walk further to the door.  Or, you can choose to mow the grass yourself instead of paying the kid down the road to do it for yo

Baby Steps

Although it may seem overwhelming to change your diet and start exercising all at once, you should know that you can take baby steps toward your goal.  Set small goals at first and reward yourself.  If you eat healthy all week and walk three times that week, treat yourself to a piece of cake on the weekend. You can bargain with yourself and still see great results.  So, go ahead and create your own individual plan.  You will see the results within a few weeks regarding your cellulite, but you will feel better immediately.
